Holy crowds, Batman! Throngs! Yes, throngs of people, big and small, were out to touch some trucks on Saturday. There were police trucks, fire trucks, tow trucks, dump trucks, cement trucks, garbage trucks, delivery trucks, pickup trucks, arm trucks, school busses, and even a helicopter! This is the first time we have ever been. Everybody always talks about how cool it is, so we had to check it out. I think the kids were just as impressed with how many of their friends they saw there as they were with all of the vehicles.
On the little choo choo.
Fiona hopped right into the action. We're in trouble in a year or two when she can reach the pedals.
Giant dump truck full of beach balls + dumping them on kids heads + kids throw them back in x infinity = nonstop fun!
Hello from the armored SWAT truck!
Fiona has been deputized and is ready to search and rescue!
Of all the vehicularly cool stuff here, Chachi was most impressed by the police DOGH!
She looks a little too comfortable doing that.
Two of the cool vehicles that the girls balked at standing in line for.
Running through the fire hose and getting to spray it were definitely highlights of the day.
It was also draw-on-a-truck and wash-a-truck!
The 3 amigos
Chachi has that glazed "it's almost time to go home" look.
Now there's the twinkle my little dude is known for.
