High Seas Expedition: VBS Day 3

Thar she blows! Day 3 of our High Seas Expedition was a whale of a time! I must confess: These kids are wearing me out! Mama is ready to hang her hammock and catch some zzzzzs below deck.

By the way, parents, this is who you are leaving in charge of your children. Just thought you should know.

My first mate, Miss Madeline

Miss De is trying to test if chipmunks really point true North.

Snaky Shipwreck Snack - mmmmmm, blue jello, gummy worms, and whipped cream

Those are some cute smilies we've got there in crew 11!

Riley is hand jivin'.

Only the deranged mind of a sea crazed VBS leader could conceive of a game in which the children relentlessly pelt each other with cut-in-half tennis balls.

Riley's and Madeline's faces say it all. This was intense warfare!

Mia's got some unchecked aggression to release.

Crouching Kaitlyn, Hidden Tennis Ball

Alyssa and Brielle abstaining from the mayhem.

If you can dodge a wrench...

Tossed to and fro on the stormy sea and shipwrecked on a snake filled island! What kind of place is this?

Chris found a comfortable resting spot.

Mahfieu and his crazy hair

Mama's scurrvy scallywags

Fifi's crazy hair
What did we learn today?:
  • God's word is surprising! (Aye, Aye, Lord!) - Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions. - Psalm 119:18
  • Paul is bitten by a poisonous snake but does not die - Acts 28:1-10
  • Marshmallow guns are cool!
