Batten the hatches! It's day 4 of VBS, Wet and Wild Day! There was more than a little over spray to keep our crusty crew on their toes today! It was a squall the likes of which these little barnacles had never seen! Hoist the sails and raise the jib; we sail on!
The gorgeous ladies of the Pro-Creators (not to be confused with the Gorgeous Ladies of Wresting, although they do that sometimes, too) - Maddie, Josie, Brooke, and Elizabeth
Note to self: Kids love playing in giant buckets of water.
Andy is both joyful and thorough in his work, carefully squeezing every last drop out of the sponge before relaying back. His place on the list grows more secure each day.
Johhny plays his part with equal determination!
Go, Brookie, go!
As ever, Elizabeth plays with flare and style.
"I'm dripping!" (Love that the guys in the background appears to be taking their jobs as soakers in earnest.)
McKenna falls victim to the ruthless brotherliness of Noah. Madeline meets the same fate, guilt by association.
Look closely; you will detect a look of mischief that foreshadows Madeline's callous water assault of Avery.
After the intentional face splash, She retreats with all haste to avoid the retaliatory sprays of Avery's bodyguards.
More pics of the pretty ladies - I mean liver lickin' yellowbellies
Elizabeth as a crippled beggar
"Arise and walk, my child!"
The children symbolically cast their sins at the feet of Jesus.
The Liar, The Rebel and The Bully - Freely admitting their sin nature among hundreds of onlookers. John, however, was the only one of the three who seemed to delight a bit in his sin of punching his sisters (more than once!).
Good little sailors, Maddie and Jenae, sing along during worship time.
What did we learn today?:
- God's word is life-changing. - Give me life through your word - Psalm 119:37
- Acts 3:1-26 - Peter and John heal a lame man
- You CAN marry a banana!
