Our Crazy Road Trip: Day 10

Departure Time: Who knows?
Odometer: ditto
Destination: breakfast, laundry mat, swimming, wild goose chase, naps, dinner, night-night
Miles Travelled Today: 6-ish

Pat was at the job site all day today.

Here is my Super Mommy tip of the week: Doing 6 loads of laundry at a laundry mat with a mud pit for a parking lot, accompanied by a preschooler, a toddler, and an infant in a strange town when it’s raining is a bad idea. End of story.

There was also a slight misunderstanding as to the placement of the motorhome keys that resulted in me needlessly digging through the laundry mat trashcan. The details shall remain secret so as to protect the reputation of the handsome and extremely hardworking guilty party.

I taught Maddie to play checkers and Daddo taught her to play dominoes. The girls played Play-doh and Polly Pockets. Pretty standard stuff.

Our girls have become somewhat jaded about wildlife after Yellowstone. There is a pack of whitetail deer that lives around the lodge and grazes on the lawn just feet from our cabin. When I first pointed them out, the girls' response was a very nonchalant, "Oh, yeah."

Big Sky Sunset - Beautiful, gorgeous, wish you were here
