Happy Birthday Carter!

What a wonderful thing to be graced with an invitation to help Carter celebrate his 5th year of life by accompanying him to the Santa Barbara Zoo! This was Chachi's first trip to the zoo, and he was very excited. Ok, maybe not so much, but the girls were all atwitter about getting to spend the day with "Tawtah," "Davee," and "Baby Ewwah."

Here are the animals we brought with us waiting to eat breakfast at the Summerland Beach Cafe. Awesome French Toast! It was really funny to see people's reaction to Carter's giant paper birthday crown. It had his name on it, and he was so surprised when people greeted him by saying, "Happy Birthday, Carter!"
