Random Pics from Our Current Beach Camping Trip

Our maniac daughter insisted on putting her bathing suit on and playing with the dogs in the water despite the temperature being in the mid-50s. She didn't just dip her toes and then run back and huddle under her towel either. Oh no, she made a morning of it. It's a wonder she didn't become hypothermic.

She finally got some sense and came in to get dressed. That's her Grandp-O holding her. He's visiting from Connecticut, so this weather is hot for him!

Pat's sister, Athena, came up for the day on Sunday. We went to Ventura Harbor and played at the arcade for a couple of hours. About $100 later, Maddie earned enough tickets for 2 dum dums, a plastic frog, a butterfly tattoo, and 2 tootsie rolls.

Maddie finally lured Athena in to play Polly Pockets and Play-doh. Athena crafted the fine looking pony you see above. I now consider her my greatest Play-doh rival.
