Why is it that you discover that the first picture was actually just fine after you have struggled with your children for at least 10 minutes trying to get a better shot?

Another perfect day in Filmore. Why don't we live here?

$0.10 worth of fish feed never made any kids happier. The Rainbow Trout are kept in these long troughs, and when the pellets are thrown in, they go wild. Chachi was very impressed.

My favorite part was the bird sanctuary. I could not get a good shot because of the chain link fence, but there were at least 20 white cranes perched in the trees, along with a host of ducks, egrets, hawks, and even an owl!
