It would have never even occurred to me that my 3 1/2 year old daughter would, a) be the slightest bit interested in, b) enjoy, and c) have the ability to assemble a Lego crane. That is why dads are way cooler than moms; they think of this stuff. Not only that, this particular Dad had the wherewithal and patience to sit down with her and actually let
her build it. He helped her pick out the right parts and decipher the instructions, but 90% of the manual labor was left entirely to her. Even Baby
Fi was totally taken in by the endeavor. Not only was it a cool project to do with
Daddo, but now she has a toy that she LOVES to play with. Only a kid could conjure up things to do with a Lego crane for 45 minutes straight.
