We took a vacation....

...from all of our domestic responsibilities on Sunday. We blew off laundry, grocery shopping, housecleaning, and general life maintenance and just went to the beach after church. We even managed to harangue the Paiks into joining us - I'm sure they had plenty of laundry to do themselves. We started off our afternoon of laziness with lunch at Neptune's Net and finished up the day by spending 2 or 3 hours kickin' around Zuma Beach. Yes, we spent a day at the beach on February 10th. There is a reason we sell our souls to the devil for a piece of real estate out here; we're not all just crazy. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day. Fi was a little grouchy, as she was working hard at mastering walking in sand. Other than that, it was the perfect Sunday!
