Apples!

A day at the Apple Farm! (Hey, it beats a day at school!)

Sweet little buddies getting ready to do some pickin'!

Chachi quickly found a grandmotherly type to lead around to do his bidding.

The barnyard animals of Painted Pony Farm in Santa Paula, CA.

The kidlets getting a quick lesson on baby chicks and apples.

The chickadees, Madeline and McKenna, with a little chickadee

I am sure that Chachi could have never imagined that anything existed on earth quite as wonderful as the privilege of choosing, from among a bucket of chicks, one to hold in his very own lap.

From fear to delight in no seconds flat - That's my Fi.

A forager by nature, apple picking came quite easily to Charlie.

Fiona, the lone ranger - check out that strut.

Fun friends!

If you ever see one of these two approaching you operating any type of moving vehicle, run.

"MAMA, GHOAT!"

McKenna, Maddie, and Fiona

This was an enormous pig named Daisy. Charlie tried to approach her pen several times, clearly underestimating the creature's ability to swallow him whole.

Um, hello future supermodels.
