My girlies are so excited to be participating this year in AWANA (Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed). Everybody always wants to know what it is though. The best way I've come up with to explain it is that it's like Bible Scouts. They sing, play games, learn lessons about God, and memorize scripture. They get awarded with patches and badges for participation and learning their memory verses. The purpose of AWANA clubs is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
It's a ton of fun!
My little Cubby is jumping for joy!
