Queen for the day - Since Maddie has a summer birthday, she got to celebrate with her class on the last day of school. We brought banana cupcakes, and Maddie was bestowed a nifty, paper birthday crown. 
The "birthday" girl/ graduate is presented with her diploma by her teachers, Mrs. Gelb and Mrs. Slack.

We had a picnic on the lawn to celebrate this momentous occasion. The kids mostly ran around like wild banshees.
